Practical Driving Test

The driving test is not something to worry about. Your female XL in Driving instructor will only put you in for your practical test when she feels you are ready and able to pass. This is demonstrated by the consistently high first time pass rate.

Your test is designed to see if you can drive safely, know the highway code and can demonstrate this in your driving. You are allowed up to 15 driver faults that do not compromise safety to yourself or any other road users.

The practical driving test will include:

An eyesight check *
General driving including a reversing exercise, an emergency stop exercise and a section on independent driving following signs or verbal directions.
Two "show me - tell me" questions about basic car maintenance and safety

At the end of the test you will receive a pass or a fail with constructive feedback from the examiner.

Current Weekday Practical Test Fee:£62
Current Evening and Weekend Test Fee:£75
